Starting with the included pre-assembled RS40 rack, the Yamaha DTXplorer gives you everything you need to start playing great feeling and sounding electronic drums right out of the box. Along with the compact rack you also get 1 snare pad, 3 tom pads, 1 hi hat pad, 2 cymbal pads, a kick pad and bass drum pedal. The natural feeling rubber pads have been designed to produce very low noise when you strike them, making this kit ideal for practicing at home. The HH65 hi-hat controller covers all the hi-hat effects such as full closed, full open, half open and foot splash. Everything folds up easily when not in use making storage of the Yamaha DTXplorer a snap. The included DTX Drum Trigger Module comes loaded with 214 acoustic, electronic and SFX drum sounds, 22 preset songs and 32 preset drum kits so youre covered in any genre of music. Everything from Rock, Jazz and Reggae to Funk and Latin Percussion kits are set up and ready to go. You can also save your changes to any of the 10 user kit locations. There are 19 types of built-in SPX reverb effects along with a Master EQ.Also built-into the DTXplorer module is Groove Check with Rhythm Gate, Yamahas popular built-in drum training program. It provides exercises that help with your tempo and overall timing and provides you with instant feedback as to how youre doing. 22 preset songs (2 demos/20 training songs) are onboard and replicate the experience of playing with the band.A built-in click track with tap-tempo function makes it easy to set your clicks tempo. You can change the sounds of the beats for the click and save them to any of the 30 memory allocations. Its very useful when practicing playing in the pocket as well as when your band is flying in pre-recorded tracks to the live performance. Back panel connections include AUX IN where you can connect an MP3 player or CD player to pipe through the system.
